Villa Soludden’s 27 corners offer nearly unlimited opputunities. Designed by Finish architect Rejio Hillberg in 1990, the house is characterized by a striking contrast between openness and seclusion. Its materials – wood , soapstone, and glass – give the buildings unique character while ensuring it blends seamlessly into the magnificent archipelago environment.

Our story begins with a voyage from sunny Spain to the enchanting Stockholm archipelago.
The year was 2008 when Daniel Arlycke, alongside his father Lars and sister Caroline, decided to return to their roots – Sweden. Before departing Marbella, we had the privilege of running three thriving restaurants, one of which, nestled in the Puerto Banús harbour, bore the name PRAVDA, renowned for its distinctive ambiance and exquisite cuisine.
However, it was a dreamy Midsummer celebration in the Stockholm archipelago that altered everything. During a balmy summer night, Daniel’s eyes were opened to a place that held the potential to become something truly extraordinary – a place where they could craft the most delightful, delectable, and unparalleled conference experiences, events, and wedding arrangements. And this, in an environment where you always have the entire venue exclusively, yet with service that’s ever-present when desired.
With a vision ignited and a passion for hospitality burning bright, we embarked on our endeavour. In 2010, Villa Soludden finally stood complete – our own little pearl by the water, a testament to our dreams and diligent work.
Since then, Villa Soludden has been much more than merely a venue for conferences and weddings. It has become a sanctuary where people gather to create lifelong memories, where ideas take flight, and where love is celebrated. It has woven itself into our family’s heritage and a place we are proud to share with the world.

Since our inception in 2010, our pursuit of evolution has been a cornerstone of our journey. Today, three years on, we have not only continued to refine Villa Soludden into an unrivalled destination but have also expanded our horizons by creating and opening two new captivating concepts that complement our vision of hospitality and unique experiences.
Nestled just a 10-minute drive from Villa Soludden, or a picturesque 30-minute boat ride away, you’ll find our two new waterfront gems – restaurants Kattholmen and Orangeriet in Gustavsberg harbour.
Restaurant and, brasserie Kattholmen is housed within a unique Gustavian building from 1905, once the old power plant of the Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory. Here, you can anticipate a fusion of classic elegance and contemporary gastronomy, where each dish is a tribute to local flavours and history.
Orangeriet, which we opened just two years ago, transports us back to the Spanish chiringuitos where tapas, holiday vibes, and sangria go hand in hand. With an atmosphere brimming with life, and joy, Orangeriet is the perfect place to unwind and savour good food and good company.

FAQ
What do you mean when you say that one has exclusive use of the entire villa?
By ‘having the villa to yourselves,’ we mean that when you book the villa, it is exclusively reserved for you throughout your stay. No other group or guests will share the villa with you, ensuring complete privacy and seclusion. At certain times of the day, staff will be on-site to ensure the best service, but for the rest of the time, the villa is entirely yours. You will have access to all the villa’s facilities and rooms without having to share them with anyone else, guaranteeing a personal and unique experience.
What does a typical wedding package look like?

Summarised in brief if the wedding is held on our beautiful pier:
Morning/lunch: Bride and groom arrive
Afternoon: Hotel guests arrive and a few hours after them other guests. Wedding ceremony held with subsequent mingle.
Evening: Wedding party with dinner followed by a nightclub.
Midnight: Waking and bar closing at around 01:30. Then the staff retires. Note that we offer an opportunity to continue downstairs in the relaxation room with drinks and sauna.
Is my enquiry binding?
No, an enquiry is not binding. It is simply an expression of interest to gather information and check potential availability. A booking is only binding once both parties have confirmed the terms, usually through a written agreement or booking confirmation.
Is it possible to stay overnight, and how many beds are available?
Villa Soludden provides modern, high-quality accommodation for overnight guest. All equipped with the latest technology and all necessary amenities. In the bathrooms, for example, we offer products from high-quality Kerstin Florian – a favourite with our guests.
In total there are 17 overnight rooms, 34 beds where 7 of them are single rooms and 10 are double rooms. The possibility of expanding the single rooms to double rooms and the double rooms to triple rooms allows us to offer a maximum capacity of 34 beds.
If our guests need additional beds, we have a nice collaboration with a couple of different sailing yachts that can be used as overnight rooms.
What is the minimum number of people at an exclusive party?
To book Villa Soludden for an exclusive event, a minimum of 12 people is required for conferences and 16 people for private functions. This ensures that you receive a personalised and tailored experience with full access to our facilities and services. We only accommodate one group at a time, meaning that you will have exclusive use of the entire villa and can enjoy a unique, undisturbed celebration in a stunning setting.
